This movie seemed like a movie trailer. All of the action is in little snippets and vignettes. It's basically a version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, made for no reason, nothing new added or improved upon.
Nicole Kidman is a mother who searches for her son among people who appear like people she knows, but are actually people who have been given Ritalin ®. This movie feels like that too. It looks like a movie, but really isn't.
I don't like it when studios re-make a movie for no reason other than to cash in on the popularity of the previous one. It didn't bring anything to create excitement or suspense. It seemed as though they had a movie that was far too long and needed drastic editing. Unfortunately they left in the boring parts and tried to bring up the pace by combining scenes into nonsensical montages.
The vomiting and spitting was just disgusting and added nothing but a terrible taste to my mouth.
